Indian Summer

Walked the digger dog this morning, sun shining as gloriously as a sun can shine, making a late september morning in Attenborough

as good as they get.  Just the morning to ‘carpe diem’ , and shoot some pictures, taking in the hum and buzz of birds and bees enjoying

their chance to rob some unexpected pleasure.  Spent some time in contemplation, feeling in harmony with a solitary heron, still, aware,

and biding his time.  It was a scene straight from a Japanese painting.

That’s why I came home and messed about with the photos I had taken, and ended up with this shot of grasses , which I used as an image for digital painting.  Very enjoyable way to spend some time.

Have a calm weekend. Enjoy.
